In the challenging field of treating patients afflicted by jinn, Mualij (healers) must implement effective protection strategies to safeguard themselves while fostering healing and understanding. Each session reveals deep pain and fear that goes beyond the physical realm, placing a heavy responsibility on the healer. By establishing trust and compassion, Mualij can create a safe space for their patients, allowing for genuine healing. However, it is crucial for practitioners to remain vigilant about their own vulnerabilities, ensuring they do not become vessels of negativity. In this profound journey, we must reflect: Are we ready to confront our hidden flaws and negligence as we seek to aid others?

Dialogue With the Jinn for Mualij
Sometimes the jinns enter the human body due to magic and sometimes they enter the human without magic, but otherwise it rarely happens because the magician uses magic to strengthen the magic and protect the effects of the magic. By attaching to it, they also send out jinns which are embedded in the human body in various ways. However, whenever the jinn enters the human body, knowledge of them will be necessary because they do not come into the human body to disappear quietly, but to increase the effect of magic. The following symptoms indicate that one or more demons are embedded in a human body.
- Those who take complete possession of the patient and start speaking through the patient’s mouth.
- The patient often starts speaking incoherently, either frequently or at certain times.
- The patient hears a voice in their head that only they can hear, as if a jinn is speaking.
- The patient loses consciousness or becomes unresponsive for some time without any apparent cause.
- The patient begins to eat excessively, as jinn may inhabit the body and consume the patient’s food.
- The patient experiences pain in various parts of the body without any medical reason.
- The patient’s condition worsens when the Quran is recited, as the polytheistic jinn feels discomfort from the Quran and tries to distress the patient to make them stop reciting it.
What should mualij do?
- Typically, practitioners try to expel or eliminate the jinn within a patient’s body by separating it from any associated magic. However, the jinn are often placed in the human body by means of magic to protect that very magic. Therefore, the magic must be addressed first, followed by treatment for the jinn. Attempting to burn, frighten, or drive the jinn away at the initial stage often produces adverse outcomes, as many jinn are either forced or bound by magic to inhabit the human body. Sometimes, even their families are held hostage, compelling them to enter the human body.
- If a jinn begins to speak through the patient, practitioners should choose a wise approach, engaging with gentleness, caution, and a sense of compassion
- Jinn can be both good and bad, and sometimes they themselves are unaware that they have entered a patient’s body due to the influence of magic.
- Free the jinn from the sorcerer’s grip and their magic so that the compulsion to remain in the human body is lifted. If the jinn entered under force, they will leave on their own once the compulsion is removed.
- Do not harm the jinn, so they do not become vengeful or seek retribution against the patient due to pain or injury. Even a small amount of harm can cause severe distress to them.
- Ask the jinn the purpose of its presence, and through repeated questioning, prevent it from evading or concealing its intentions.
- Jinn are often fearful of humans, especially spiritual healers and practitioners. Therefore, approach them calmly, alleviate their fears, and establish trust so that they feel safe enough to speak truthfully.
- Convince the jinn to assist in identifying and removing the magic from the human patient’s body. This will allow for the elimination of the magic itself and free any jinn that may be bound to it.
- Assure the jinn that you do not wish to harm or burn them but that you genuinely care for their well-being alongside that of the patient.
- Gather as much information as possible from the jinn, such as their family, children, religion, etc. Generally, jinn that have been inserted into human bodies through magic are non-Muslims. Before inviting them to Islam, clarify the truth of the religion and dispel any doubts they may have in their minds so that they may genuinely come to faith, rather than just making a false claim out of fear of being harmed or burned.
- Since jinn do not possess complex minds, they tend to accept the truth when it is presented to them simply. Therefore, the Quran should be recited to them in a straightforward manner, and they should be invited to acknowledge the prophethood of Jesus and Moses (peace be upon them). This is important because Christian or Jewish jinn usually have limited knowledge about their own religion and only know the names of their prophets.
- Proceed with the conversation with the jinn in a natural manner, and do not condition their acceptance of faith on leaving the patient’s body.
- Like humans, jinn also have an understanding of basic feelings of good and evil; therefore, provide them with training in this regard as well.
- Engage in dialogue with the jinn based on the condition and emotion under which they entered the human body, and use arguments and Quranic verses in the conversation. This way, not only will there be no need to kill the jinn, but in many cases, the current jinn will prove to be helpful in the treatment of the magic afflicting the individual.
