There are four basic actions in Islamic worship, prayer, fasting, Hajj, and Zakat, but in order to maintain the consciousness of servitude, Salah is an action that is equally important for rich and poor, male and female, slave and free. It has been declared essential. Like Zakat, Hajj, fasting, Salah is not subject to wealth or specific month or special circumstances. Rather, Salah is a common act of prayer, from which every person gets blessings.

Introduction to Worship
“Salah refers to the Arabic word used to describe the prayers our Muslims perform on a daily basis. Salat is the obligatory Muslim prayers, performed five times each day by Muslims. It is the second Pillar of Islam.”
In the Islamic scriptures and hadiths, Salah has been highly praised and emphasized repeatedly because it is the act by which, apart from purification of the soul and purification of the heart, a servant can maintain a relationship with his Creator. That is why in Islamic worship, Salah has priority and the most emphasis has been given to it. Salah is the most important thing that awakens the spirit of obedience and servitude in a believer, it is a proof of his faith. It is the source of safety and security of his morals, in which he can get the opportunity to express his devotion through various movements and movements and also get the heart and satisfaction.
Purified, with the right intention and firm intention, when a servant humbly and sincerely presents himself in the presence of his Lord with complete devotion and confesses his servitude, and in his sufferings and pains, ignorance and darkness, he waits for divine light and seeks the straight path. It happens, when a person stands politely, bows down with humility, prostrates himself with helplessness and weakness, then sets different levels of forgiveness, then he feels that his Creator, Sustainer, Owner and Guardian is really watching him and He will surely bless him with all kinds of blessings. In this way, a person who is unable to serve the Lord has the practice of seeking help from his Lord and worshiping the Lord. And ultimately that guidance is a happy act of salvation.
Leisure for worship
Freeing up for the worship of Allah does not mean that a person should not strive day and night for sustenance, rather it means that:
When he worships Allah Ta’ala, his heart and body should be present, he should be humble in worship, and the majesty and majesty of the Lord Almighty should be in his heart. Let him realize that he is speaking with Allah, the Lord of the Universe, and let this blessed saying of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) be in front of him, in which it is mentioned about worshiping in this way: “Worship Allah in this way.” As if you are seeing them.”
If not, then at least this: “If you are not looking at them, they are looking at you.” (Book-Reference Kitab al-Iman, Chapter Knowledge of Faith and Islam: 1/27)
The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) has informed the Ummah in this hadith that Allah has promised to give the following rewards to those who worship with focus and concentration:
1 filling his heart with happiness.
2 Filling both his hands with sustenance.
In the aforementioned Hadith Sharif, The Prophet (ﷺ) has also informed the Ummah that the following punishments are promised by him for those who distance themselves from Allah Ta’ala:
1 To fill his heart with want and poverty.
2 To confuse him in useless tasks.
And the heart that Allah, the Creator of the treasures of hearts, fills with care, how can the feeling of neediness and the concept of carelessness come close to him, and whose hands are filled with sustenance by the Sustainer of the universe, those who are poor and destitute? Why can you be a victim? And whose heart the Lord of the universe fills with neediness, even if all the forces of the universe unite and agree, they cannot make him happy and comfortable, and whomever Allah, the Mighty and Wrathful, traps in useless and meaningless affairs. Who can provide him with leisure? (Book-Reference Keys to Sustenance)
Therefore, we should also worship Allah by freeing ourselves, that is, by presenting both the heart and the body, in such a way that Allah is watching me, so that we can get relief in this world and the hereafter.
Salah is the cure for every problem
Allah Almighty said in the Holy Qur’an:
[Surat al-Baqarah: 45] وَاسْتَعِيْنُوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ
And I seek help (from Allah the Exalted) through patience and prayer
Hazrat Allama Jalaluddin Suyuti” in the commentary of this verse quotes the words of Hazrat Qatadah Radiyallahu Anhu: “These two (Salah and patience) are the means of seeking help from Allah, seek help from Allah through them.”
Hazrat Qazi Sanaullah Panipati says: “To fulfill your religious and worldly needs (help with salah and patience). (Book-Reference Al-Tafsir al-Mazhari: 1/151)
A few reliefs obtained from Salah
Salahis a great aid and helper in attaining relief in this world and the hereafter and removing the troubles of both worlds
- It is a deterrent from sins.
- Diseases of the heart and stomach are removed.
- It brightens and illuminates the heart and face.
- Agility in the mind and body.
- It is the source of sustenance.
- It prevents oppression and helps the oppressed.
- Prevents immorality and evil deeds.
- Protecting the blessings of Allah Ta’ala.
- This Salah saves from punishment in the Hereafter.
- The mercy of Allah is about to descend.
- It is the remover of grief.
Salahis the cause of comfort and happiness. Salah is gathering the remembrance of Allah, so it is a means of opening the chest and removing its tightness.
A person who prays with peace and contentment with the intention of fulfilling the right of prayer, feels light in his soul and feels as if he is filled with agility, comfort and health, and the burden of his head is lifted. Has descended, even his heart does not want to finish the prayer.
This is because Salah strengthens the eyes, refreshes the soul, relieves the heart, and brings comfort. A person who feels himself in distress and suffocation should perform ablution well and engage in prayer, God willing, he will find rest. Therefore, The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say to Hazrat Bilal:
“O Bilal! Stand up and give us comfort and peace through prayer.”
(Book-Reference Abu Dawud, Kitab al-Adab)
In other words, Iqamah for the congregation says that by praying, we get relief from tiring tasks (ordering and maintenance of the ummah), just like a tired traveler gets relief after reaching his destination.
Conclusion
Therefore, turning to Salah at the time of every problem is like turning to the mercy of Allah, and when the mercy of God is helpful, then there is no chance for any trouble to remain. In the same way, this thing has been narrated in the circumstances of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) who follow the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) at every step.
Therefore, we should turn to Salah in all our difficulties and problems. By his blessings, may Allah Almighty help us in our troubles and difficulties and give us salvation from them.
