The Reality of Trust (Tawakkul)

In the Holy Quran, there is a place where Allah Almighty mentions about trust:
“حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَ كِيلُ”

Translation: “Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”

Tawakkul is a state that is the fruit of faith, and there are many doors of faith. However, among all of them, having faith in two is the foundation of tawakkul:

  1. Oneness of Allah (Tawheed)
  2. Complete reliance on His grace and mercy.”

The description of Tawheed is long and its knowledge is the end of science. But we will only state the value on which the total is based. There are four levels of Tawheed and it has a core and then the same core has a core and Tawheed has a shell and then this shell also has a shell, so there are two cores and two shells of Tawheed. Its example is like that of a raw walnut in that it has two skins and a pulp, and its pigment is also the pulp of the pulp.

Grade No 1:

When a person says ‘There is no god but Allah’ and believes in it from the heart, like common people or a speaker, meaning, belief through a certain kind of evidence.

Grade No. 2:

The meaning of this word should be believed from the heart of the people of the faith like the people of the people or Mutkalim, i.e. with a kind of argument.

Grade No. 3:

Observations show that everyone’s essence is one and there is not more than one actor. No one else is the actor, and this is a light that is born in the heart, and through this light, this observation is obtained. This is not like the beliefs of the general public or the speaker because their belief is a knot that settles on the heart through imitation or reasoning, and when this observation happens, the heart opens up, and it doesn’t just untie all the knots but also breaks the chains.

Example:

An example of the imitation of the general public is a person believing on a reason that a so-and-so person is at home because that person says so, and it is the common man’s imitation of what he heard from his parents. An example of the speaker’s belief is like a person seeing a horse at the door and believing that so-and-so person is at home because the speaker has reasoned it out, and whoever sees this person at home This is an example of the unity of the mystics because they perceive it. Although this unity is of a high degree, the mystic at this station sees both the Creator and the creation. And he knows that when the creation manifests from the Creator, multiplicity is included in this degree of unity, and as long as the mystic observes two, he remains in division and does not unite, and this is not the perfection of unity.

Grade No. 4:

Do not see except one, and see all as one and consider them as one, and in this observation, differences do not interfere. What does he do when he sees him crying in the wilderness? He replied I am correcting my steps tomorrow. Hazrat Hussain bin Mansoor Hallaj (may Allah be pleased with him) said that you have spent your life in the inner world, when will you reach the place of monotheism?
